v0.6.1: New version numbers and the PowerShell Gallery
Releases now use plain version numbers, the MaesterCloud module installs from the PowerShell Gallery, and sign-in and tenant consent are more reliable.
What’s new
- Plain version numbers. Releases are numbered
v0.6.<patch>from here on, replacing theprivate-previewsuffixes. Your portal’s About page shows the version you run. - Install from the PowerShell Gallery. Run
Install-Module MaesterCloud -AllowPrereleaseto get the setup module. Its help links point at maester.cloud. - Consent in one click. Failed tenant connections lead with Grant consent, which opens the Entra consent page directly. Your home tenant gets a consent link too.
- Fix connection. The Tenants page shows the full connection error with a one-click fix.
- Where your instance lives. Settings shows the Azure subscription and resource group of your deployment, with a link to the Azure portal.
Fixes
- Portal sign-in completes reliably after the Microsoft redirect.
- The raw HTML report view renders inside a locked-down sandbox.
- When a sign-in token expires in the middle of an action, setup asks you to sign in again instead of failing.
- Navigation in setup stays available while an operation is running.
- Error banners show the message only; support details open in a dialog.
